I
am just getting my CNC mill up and running (KFLOP & KANOLOG). I have the
servo load analog outputs being fed back into the analog inputs ADC’s with the
hope of modifying the KmotionCNC GUI in the future to have a load meter for each
axis and the spindle. But for now I just want to view the ADC values while
KmotionCNC is running. But the ADC’s keep going to –2048 after a short time.
Attached is a screen shot.
Tom
do you have any idea why this is happening. I am running version
4.32
Thanks

Hi Dan,
Not really sure. Does the LED on Kanalog go out when this happens?
One possibility is that you are doing something to the IO on KFLOP JP7 that
interferes with the communication between KFLOP and Kanalog. Could this be a possibility?

The only thing that I am doing is running Kmotion and KmotionCNC as you see
in the screen shot I sent. The KFLOP&KANOLOG are installed as they came from
you. The only thing I have done with the boards from you are to start writing an
initialization program. When it happens I am going back and forth from Kmotion
and KmotionCNC. I only ran under G code control for the first time last night so
I have a lot more work to do in the next couple days, I will keep an eye on it
while doing that. But I have had this problem for a week or more as I was trying
to tune my servos. I am trying to get an idea how hard I am working them.
I am running your software on a new Dell workstation laptop, Windows 7
Enterprise 64 bit.
Servos are Teco 750 watt and 1000 watt units. With TSTA-20 and TSTA-30
drives configured for analog speed input. I can provide you with more info
tonight if you need it. I have a couple other questions for you but I will put
them in a separate post.
